Fervent Fire Ministries Holds 4th Annual Mission Possible Youth Camp

Fervent Fire Ministries put on Mission Possible Youth Camp for its fourth year to give youth a time to be away from the distractions of the world and be brought into the presence of the Lord and fellowship of their brothers and sisters in Christ. This year, campers went through the Making of a Warrior - a spiritual warrior in Christ. From June 18th to the 21st, youth ages 10 to 18 enjoyed creative activities, cabin wars, a game show, delicious food, insightful classes, and powerful services.

Youth members were divided into "squads" this year for bunking in cabins and were assigned counselors to help them through the entire experience. After getting settled in, the youth enjoyed activities such as the paint war (which included several stages this year) and horse back riding. Those interested in sharing their talent participated in a talent search, where they auditioned in front of judges and a peer audience. Winners got to perform their talent again at some of the services.

The youth built camaraderie in their squads, spending time together as they ate and working together as a team to compete in the Cabin Wars. Campers participated in Crazy Olympics and a special Warrior Training time unique to this year's camp.

They also enjoyed the Beach Blast once again this year. Although it rained for awhile, when the rain stopped, they went out and had a lot of fun!

Campers also studied for the Who Wants to Know Jesus (WWKJ) Gameshow, which was another new event at camp this year. Three contestants from each squad represented their cabin on the buzzers and answered Bible questions and recited Scripture for points.

Teams also got the chance to complete challenges for extra points. It was a fun way to use the Scripture they've learned to get prizes and points for their team!

The youth didn't only enjoy activities; they were poured into to help them grow spiritually. Their days included classes taught by Christine Lovett called "A Visit to the Principles' Office," where she taught on Biblical Christian principles.

Services included talent performances, praise and worship, and a message from one of the speakers. Mariah Mullins came on Monday night to lead us in powerful praise and worship! This year's speakers were Justin Bethel, John Holler, and Scott Lovett. Youth learned about the armor of God, knowing their salvation in Christ, and more.

Many young people had a life-changing experience with God right at the altar. We pray that they continue to experience God in this mighty way and that every word spoken by the Holy Spirit would be planted deep inside of them.

We're extremely appreciative of every single person that was a part of camp, from the camp counselors, to those helping prepare meals in the kitchen, to those who taught. We also highly value every person who sponsored a youth to be able to come and experience this and every partner whose support to Fervent Fire Ministries goes to outreaches like this to cause a very real change in the lives of people.
